Rap mogul and businessman Clifford “T.I.” Harris Jr. weighed in on the seemingly neverending Young Thug-RICO trial that has been dragging on for 18 months now.

The Thugger trial has mostly sailed under the radar in 2024 due to the mushrooming and all-encompassing Diddy sex scandal. Moreover, the Donald Trump election corruption trial is still brewing in the same city, Atlanta, where the Thugger trial is taking place.

T.I. believes Young Thug is going to be acquitted

At about the 23-minute mark in his interview with the nationally syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club,” The Grand Hustle boss blurted out that he believes Young Thug will be exonerated of the charges against him.

“Yeah, yep — he’s coming home; he’s coming home,” T.I. said before responding to Charlamagne tha God’s question if Tip had ever seen a trial like this one.

“Nah, nobody has,” Tip answered.

Charlamagne and DJ Envy also believe Young Thug will not be found guilty. Charlamagne asked T.I. what makes him think Young Thug will be acquitted.

“I don’t think that the prosecution has successfully proven the case of him, you know, knowingly and willingly participating in an active street gang,” T.I. replied. “I just don’t see it.”

Tip went on to say that he doesn’t believe the prosecutorial witnesses have proven what they said they would against Young Thug.

DJ Envy added that Thugger’s predicament is “sad” because “he’s a father; he can’t see his kids. He ain’t making no money. All he is doing is spending money on attorneys and all that other stuff. So when he comes home, he’s going to have to d–n near start from zero to rebuild.”

Tip intercepted the conversation to insinuate that it’s all going to be taken care of: “Oh, don’t worry about it — when he comes home, we’ll get him right,” T.I. said confidently while shaking his head up and down. “He’ll be just fine. Just get him here and we’ll handle the rest. He’ll be just fine.”
