In a heartwarming display of friendship, Usher came to the aid of Missy Elliott during her Atlanta concert on July 27, part of the Out of This World Tour. Held at the State Farm Arena, the event was a star-studded affair, but it was Usher’s backstage visit that truly stole the show.

Usher’s kind gesture

Missy Elliott revealed on X that she was suffering from a severe migraine before her performance. In a touching post, she expressed her gratitude toward Usher, who not only attended her show but also provided relief by performing pressure points on her hands to alleviate her pain. “Big up my fam @Usher who came to not just one of my shows but TWO & hopefully 3,” she wrote. “What people don’t know is I suffer migraines and I performed yesterday in ATL with the WORST migraine, nauseated & all, and he came backstage & did pressure points on my hands. Yes, he does it all!”

Usher’s wellness journey

Usher’s commitment to wellness is well-known. In a recent interview, he shared insights into his health regimen, which includes fasting, meditation and yoga. He emphasized the importance of starting his day with reflection.

Star-studded concert

Usher wasn’t the only star in attendance at the concert. Fellow artists Monica and Kandi Burruss, both of whom have collaborated with Missy Elliott in the past, also graced the event. The Out of This World Tour features an impressive lineup, including Ciara and Busta Rhymes, and will continue until Aug. 23.

Usher’s support for Missy Elliott during her time of need highlights the strong bonds within the music community. As both artists continue to inspire fans with their talent and dedication to wellness, their friendship serves as a reminder of the importance of support and compassion in the industry.
