Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey is being trounced on social media after he posted a photo where he instructed his young daughters to give the middle finger to the camera.
Ramsey rang in the New Year loudly with his three daughters: Breelyn, 6, Brooklyn, 5, and Joonie, 3. He also declared what he will and will not tolerate in 2025.
“It’s all love if you got love in ya heart but [middle finger emoji] to the haters all year. We only want positivity round here,” Ramsey posted on X.
Perhaps Ramsey anticipated that he would incur the wrath of social media users, which is why he limited the ability for people to comment directly on the post.
That didn’t deter users from cooking him like barbecue meat.
Ramsey gets panned as a parent
“Having children throw up obscene gestures is some bozo behavior,” one person opined.
“I love Jalen as a player, but you gotta do better than this as a parent bro,” a third person surmised, while a fourth added, “Bad parenting. My daughter would get spanked if she did stuff like that.”
A fifth person summarily denounced Ramsey’s paternal instincts, saying, “Some Fathers just don’t know how to parent. Disgusting showcasing this behavior on grooming the next generation. So sad.”
Ramsey has accrued a reputation during his long career of not being afraid to mix it up on and off the field. Below, he famously got into an altercation with opposing wide receiver Stephen Smith Sr., who has since retired.
