Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mother has been entangled in the Diddy debacle in that a documentary reveals that Janice Combs hosted sex parties when her son was at an impressionable age.
In an upcoming Peacock documentary entitled “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy” that airs on Jan. 14, the music mogul’s mother, Janice Combs, is accused of hosting sex parties when he was a kid. The producers assert that what Diddy witnessed during his formative years informed him later on how to host his “freak offs” when he reached adulthood.
Diddy’s so-called childhood friends speak about his mother’s parties
“This is what we were privy to; this is what we were fed,” said music producer who claimed to be a childhood friend, Tim “Dawg” Patterson.
One person said Diddy was exposed to sex, drugs and alcohol as a teen
“On the weekend, [Combs] partied in the house, and we did that a lot,” Patterson continued. “He was around all types of alcohol; he was around reefer smoke. Drug addicts around, lesbians around, homosexuals, he was around pimps, pushers. That was just who was in our house. People that attended the parties were from Harlem, from the streets. It wouldn’t be a thing to mistakenly walk into one of the bedrooms and you got a couple in there, butt naked.”
Another documentary interviewee, DJ EZ Lee Davis, said he never went to the parties, but he heard that “everyone was welcome” at the mother’s parties.
“[Janice] had little cool chicks that would come around and … she made sure everybody was comfortable,” he said.
Most people who know Patterson have asked him why Diddy turned out the way he did and if his mother created a veritable monster.
“I’ve always been asked the question why,” said Patterson. “I don’t know the answer to why, but I truly believe it all goes back to childhood.”
He continued, “Was it desensitizing us? I’m sure it was. Were we aware of it? No, that was just Saturday night.”
