The second suspect in the horrific car wash murders of rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his 5-year-old daughter has been arrested.
Both suspects are now in custody
The suspect, Jakobie Russell, 21, was taken into custody and he was also charged with capital murder of multiple persons, assault of a pregnant person, and causing bodily harm.
The exact location of Russell’s arrest was not divulged by authorities, according to TMZ, but he is currently being held at the Lon Evans Correction Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

The first suspect was captured earlier in the week
Earlier in the week, the vaunted Texas Rangers arrested the other suspect, Adonis Robinson, 24, in Livingston, Texas, about 70 miles north of Houston. It was also about 225 miles east of the car wash in suburban Fort Worth where he allegedly took part in the ambush killings.
According to the Forest Hills Police Department crime report, Russell and Robins hid and waited as the vehicle driven by G$ Lil Ronnie and his daughter R’Mani entered the car wash in Forest Hills, Texas. When the car came to a stop, surveillance footage shows two suspects jumping out of a white Kia and opening fire on the rapper’s vehicle.
The daughter R’Mani was killed instantly by the fusillade of bullets fired into the car. The footage also captured G$ Lil Ronnie fleeing the scene and running across the parking lot, but was ultimately gunned down before he could escape.
The two suspects could get the death penalty if convicted
Forest Hills Police Chief David Hernandez called the two suspects “cowards” for allegedly executing the premeditated killings.
Being charged with capital murder charges means the two men could get the death penalty or life in prison without parole if convicted under Texas law. Meanwhile, authorities are working to find a motive for the killings and to build their case to bring justice for $G Lil Ronnie and his daughter.
