TV One premieres ‘Savor the City’ starring Chef Jernard
Jernard A. Wells will sprinkle his magic — or rather, his spices and herbs — on TV One’s new cooking series, “Savor the City,” which premieres on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT. Chef Jernard has launched an enthralling and enviable cross-continental tour of marquee American metropolises and regions where food is the main attraction.

“Savor the City” is a series of expeditions that commences in Northern California’s Napa Valley — also called wine country — where grapes are fused with culinary connoisseur Chef Jernard’s kitchen creations to concoct cuisines that are feasts for the eyes.
Further into the series, Chef Jernard will sojourn at the epicenter of wealth and refinement, Martha’s Vineyard, as well as New Orleans, where food is practically a religion. Folks may gain weight just watching the show.

Chef Jernard’s ‘Savor the City’ premiered in Atlanta
It was apropos that TV One’s President Michelle Rice hosted Chef Jernard for the red carpet premiere at the urbane ZuCot Gallery in downtown Atlanta. There was synergy with the backdrop being an exhibit where sublime art is displayed on the walls, which surrounds Chef Jernard as his elite artistry is unveiled through his majestic masterpieces on a plate.
Chef Jernard was joined on the red carpet by his wife and family members as well as special guests, including Porsha Williams, Rice, Gary Wit Da Tea, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, comedian Torrei Hart, Fox Soul’s Portia Bruner, radio and TV host Griff, and others.
“Savor the City” is produced by Powerhouse Productions, with Rochelle Brown and Sonia Armstead serving as executive producers and Kenneth Colbert as senior producer. Susan Henry is the VP of Original Programming and Production for CLEO TV.
