It was a weekend full of purpose, people, and positivity as J Smoke, the on-air personality for Streetz 94.5, attended three major events across metro Atlanta. Representing Streetz 94.5 and rolling out, J Smoke offered media coverage, genuine presence, and support at each stop, reinforcing the importance of local engagement and authentic storytelling.

Stop One: Commissioner Arrington’s Family Fun Day

The first stop brought J Smoke to South Fulton for Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr.’s Family Fun Day, a vibrant event focused on getting the community together. Hosted for Fulton County residents, the day featured free food, games, music, bounce houses, and live performances. It was a moment for families to unwind and for neighbors to connect.

Stop Two: Hoops for Inclusion in Douglasville

Next, J Smoke headed west to Douglas County for the Hoops for Inclusion Celebrity Charity Basketball Game at Stewart Middle School. This inaugural event was created to raise awareness around inclusion and disability advocacy and generate funds for student scholarships.

Hosted in partnership with Grateful Hands, Fit for the Future, District 1 Commissioner Mitchell, and Streetz 94.5, the gym had over 300 attendees, a testament to the power of collaboration and the strength of community spirit.

The basketball game itself was full of energy and entertainment. The Grateful Hands team claimed victory with a final score of 76 to 68 against the Streetz 94.5 team, but the true win was the amount of awareness and financial support raised.

J Smoke interviewed players, fans, and organizers while spotlighting the event’s core message: inclusion matters and community support makes a significant difference.

Stop Three: Promingle Fundraiser at Lake Spivey

To close out the weekend, J Smoke attended Promingle, a lakeside charity event hosted by former NFL player Evan Oglesby. Set at the scenic Lake Spivey, Promingle is an annual fundraiser that supports underserved youth with mentorship, resources, and financial assistance.

Despite the rainy weather, the event was a huge success. Guests enjoyed networking, good food, and inspirational speeches. A special guest appearance by NFL Hall of Famer Ed Reed added excitement to the evening.
