Season five of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has been nothing short of spectacular, especially when considering the wide range of emotions doled out to its massive audience weekly. From the lofty entrepreneurial goals of its cast members to the fiery catfights that randomly spring up between them like violent geysers, conventional wisdom now suggests that the best approach when watching the show is to just expect the unexpected.
But no matter how many times one may try to tune in to the Sunday night telecasts with limited expectations, one constant has emerged as the season has unfolded — the larger-than-life presence of Kenya Moore.
As the newest cast member to the fold, Moore always seems to be in the middle of the action. Right out of the gate, the Detroit native and former beauty queen made it abundantly clear that she is a force to be reckoned with. This no-holds-barred approach has certainly rubbed the occasional person the wrong way, but that’s to be expected in the caustic environment of reality television.
With a new exercise DVD in the marketplace (“Booty Boot Camp”), and enough beef on her plate to feed a small family (hello Phaedra), Moore took a timeout from all of the “RHOA” hoopla to open up to rolling out during our exclusive photo shoot and interview.
Here are some of the candid moments shared by the “Gone With the Wind Fabulous” diva.
