Hip-hop artist, actor and philanthropist Lonnie Rashid Lynn — Common— held his fourth annual gala and fundraiser on Saturday, March 29th at the Fairmont Chicago Hotel. The sold out signature event celebrated service, community and recognize continued leaders that uphold individuality, creative evolution and inspires youth to become their own masterpiece. The evening was filled with artistic creativity, dinner and dancing, celebrities, athletes, and philanthropists to raise funds in support of the Common Ground Foundation’s mission.

Nnamdi Asomugha (professional athlete, philanthropist) – Global Impact Award
Jacoby Dickens (posthumous) and Veranda Dickens (community leaders, philanthropists) – Business and Community Pioneers Award
Nyjah Huston (professional skateboarder) – Aspiring Influencer Award
Mistress of ceremonies- Cheryl Burton, ABC News
