Evelyn Lozada Talks Divorce With Iyanla Vanzant
After she was rumored to be sitting down with Oprah Winfrey, a famed basketball wife is making an appearance on the television mogul’s network. Evelyn Lozada, who made headlines for a domestic abuse incident with Chad Johnson last month, will receive counseling from life coach Iyanla Vanzant during her new series “Iyanla: Fix My Life.” Earlier this summer, Vanzant visited Miami to meet Lozada and her now estranged husband and sorted through their volatile relationship. Johnson did not participate in the session. Weeks later when news broke of a violent argument between them, Vanzant reconnected with Lozada in New York for a no-holds-barred conversation on what led her to file for divorce after just 41 days of marriage. The show is said to uncover explosive secrets and “difficult truths.”
The two-part series premiere will air Saturday, Sept. 15 and Saturday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. EST on OWN. Lozada is the first of many people Vanzant connects with on the program.
