Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are planning to get married but they apparently aren’t happy with the way their engagement was revealed online. The high-profile couple is reportedly planning to sue the person who released their proposal video. TMZ reports that the video footage that surfaced of KimYe’s engagement party was filmed and released without their consent.
Kardashian and West are allegedly preparing to sue the person responsible for the video’s release. The couple says that everyone present at their engagement party signed a confidentiality agreement. Kanye proposed during a private ceremony at AT&T Park in San Francisco. There have been reports of a 50-piece orchestra and a 15-carat ring for Kim. The event was specified as only for close friends and family.
The pair have been one of the most scrutinized couples in entertainment since they announced they were together back in early 2012. They welcomed their first child together, daughter North West, back in June. Kanye has been vocal about his love and admiration for Kim, defending their relationship during his appearance on Kim’s mother’s talk show and also when he appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” earlier this month.
“I could have people saying, ‘This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or a designer,'” West told his future mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, when he appeared on her now-defunct talk show this past summer. “And I say, ‘I don’t care. I love this woman.’ Or someone could say, ‘When the paparazzi surround you, everyone knows you don’t like the paparazzi. Why would you be with this person?’ And I’m saying, ‘I’m being with this person because I love this person and she’s worth it to me.”
