Apollo Nida denies being an FBI informant
After pleading guilty to charges of mail, wire and bank fraud, Apollo Nida is denying reports that he’s become an FBI informant. As previously reported, Phaedra Parks’ husband is facing 30 years in jail for his part in a fraud scheme that resulted in $2.3 million in allegedly stolen funds.
Now, according to the house-husband himself, various reports that he’s agreed to be a “government snitch” are untrue.
After Gary Trock, a senior writer at TMZ, tweeted the below post, Nida fired back and mentioned Michael Vick and T.I.’s plea deals that were apparently similar.
“Ur a dumb a–,” wrote the personal trainer. “It’s standard language in a federal plea agreement, Michael Vicks TI’s plea it’s the same.”
He then continued to rant about the FBI informant allegations to a fan.
Shortly thereafter, Nida backtracked on his T.I. tweet and apparently followed up by apologizing to the King of the South in person.
“For the record I never said T.I. nor Mick [sic] Vick cooperated for the FED’s in there [sic] plea agreement. This was all taken out of context,” he said.
