Bruce Jenner reportedly coming out as woman in new interview

The Internet was buzzing last week with the news that reclusive reality star Bruce Jenner would finally break his media silence surrounding his alleged gender transition with a revealing interview with Diane Sawyer later this month. And reports are now claiming that Jenner will allegedly leave behind his male persona during the interview and announce his life as a woman.

According to TMZ, sources claim that Jenner sees the interview as “a farewell to Bruce.” Jenner will reportedly “present himself” as a woman for the first time on camera.

However, the source says Jenner won’t be dressed as a woman, or even reveal his new name. Instead, he will focus solely on the announcement, which he reportedly views as more important than sexual reassignment surgery.

During the special, which took place across several interviews, Jenner will discuss how he first identified himself as a woman at age 5, his struggles with trying live life as a man, and even the impact his decision to transition has had on his family.

Jenner is reportedly well aware of the fact that he’s become a target in the media, but he wanted to do the special to educate viewers on what it means to be transgender and so that he can finally free himself from life as a man and become the woman he’s always believed himself to be.

We’ll have to wait and see how this special turns out when it airs on April 24, but we hope that Jenner really does find freedom when it airs.
