Will someone please tell Kris Jenner to have several seats! In her latest attempt to claim ownership of something mothers across the nation have been doing for decades, Jenner has reportedly filed legal documents to trademark the term “momager”; a compound word signifying one who is both a mom and a manager.

Should the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star gain rights to the word, Jenner would have the right to sue anyone who uses the title without her permission. According to TMZ, it’s very likely that the trademark will go through, “because Kris has already locked down trademarks for the term ‘momage’ for personal management services and for use in her reality show.”

The only issue is, celebrity mothers have been using this term since we can remember. Take for instance, Tina Knowles, who became the manager of Destiny’s Child in 2011, prior to becoming Beyonce’s right-hand manager. Or Dina Lohan, who was solely responsible for Lindsay’s career throughout her early years … several years prior to the Kardashians’ rise to fame. Remember the Parent Trap … a la 1998? The Kardashians didn’t even land season one of their hit reality show until 2007.

If you ask us, Jenner is single-handedly trying to kill pop culture lingo. The 59-year-old however isn’t the only one in the Kardashain clan who is trying to trademark something. Hit the flip for other terms the Kardashians are attempting to take claim over.
