'A Streetcar Named Desire' opens on Broadway

The revival of “A Streetcar Named Desire” on Broadway is now playing at Broadhurst Theater. Actors Blair Underwood (Stanley Kowalski) and Nicole Ari Parker (Blanche DuBois) star in Tennessee Williams’ most celebrated work. Supporting cast includes Daphne Rubin-Vega (as Blanche’s sister, Stella) and Wood Harris (as Blanche’s suitor, Mitch).


The play opened on Sunday, April 22, 2012 to rave reviews. Here are some photos from the red carpet and during curtain call. –yvette caslin
