'A Night of Thanksgiving' with national gospel artist Lowell Pye

On Friday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m., community leaders, philanthropists and celebrities will gather for “A Night of Thanksgiving,” a benefit concert featuring best-selling author Kenny Pugh of The Chat Kafe Show, and national gospel recording artist Lowell Pye. Also on the bill will be radio personality and singer Darlene McCoy; Y’anna Crawley, winner of “Sunday’s Best” (2009); David Walker & High Praise gospel choir; and the comedic stylings of funnyman C. Davis. The event is free and open to the public with a donation of a non-perishable item.

“A Night of Thanksgiving” will be held at Impact Ministries International at 1600 Agape Way in Decatur, Ga., where Bishop Junaldo Lee is pastor. Proceeds will benefit Positive American Youth and select families by providing them with turkey vouchers and food baskets for Thanksgiving.
