Gucci Mane, born Radric Davis, is continuing to nourish his budding relationship with law enforcement. According to ajc.com, the rapper was arrested by Georgia’s Dekalb County Fugitive Squad while visiting his probation officer in Atlanta.
Davis was jailed on misdemeanor battery charges after allegedly pushing a 36-year-old woman from his vehicle as he drove. The rapper will also be charged with violating his probation resulting from previous brushes with the law.
According to the police report, Gucci Mane allegedly picked up the woman as she was standing outside the an Atlanta area mall on the morning of Jan. 28. He asked her to eat breakfast with him, and she agreed, but once underway, he told her he wanted to take her to a hotel rather than a restaurant, the report says.
Davis allegedly offered the woman $150, but she declined and demanded to be returned to the mall. That’s when he shoved her out of his vehicle, the report says.
According to ajc.com, an ambulance came and treated her for pain on the left side of her back and “visible bodily harm, scrapes and contusions.”
Gucci Mane isn’t necessarily a catch, given his checkered past and bizarre behavior of late, but you would think he’d have more options than to try his hand at forcing women into prostitution. Another one down.
