Dr. Joyce Gives Motivational Message for Women to Walk and Speak With Authority

Don’t look down on the ground; look up high at the sky because life is filled with limitless possibilities.

If that statement isn’t enough to pull your head out of the sand and lift your spirits, there are plenty more aphorisms where that came from.

Joyce Morley-Ball Ed.D
., also known as “Dr. Joyce” and “Luv Doctor,” has an inspirational message that will catapult listeners onto the right path toward their divine destinies. “I am a motivational speaker and a psychotherapist … I help people from point A to point B and to get to know themselves better,” she shares. “It’s always good to have someone to guide you … especially someone who has been where you are. If I can help someone avoid making mistakes and falling into the holes that I’ve fallen into, they will be all right.”

Morley-Ball coaches women in corporate America who are aiming to break the “cement ceiling.” “I’ve heard the reference ‘glass ceiling,’ but to me it’s a cement ceiling because glass can break but cement has to be chipped away. As an African American woman, one thing we’ve done all of our lives is chip at the ceiling in all types of relationships with friends, loved ones and in business. I can help others take a view that most people wouldn’t understand because they’ve never walked in those shoes,” she explains.

Dr. Joyce is joining a panel of experts at the upcoming the Possible Woman Conference, which will be held in Atlanta on Wednesday, April 27, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The topic is “Optimizing Wellness.” When asked what can attendees expect she reveals, “We are helping women to understand that success is etched in your mirror and orchestrated in your mind-set. You are not going to be able to find it anywhere else and what you see in the mirror will determine how you think about yourself and where you’re going in life. It starts and ends with you. You have to learn how to manifest it on the outside. You will find peace and you will have it forever.”

Morley-Ball enjoys a career consulting for businesses, organizations and educational institutions like the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Core Consultant for the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN), the U. S. Dept. of Education, and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. A former educator in the public school system, she earned her bachelor’s in elementary education/psychology at SUNY Geneseo; a master’s in counseling specialist degrees in counseling and education Administration at SUNY Brockport; and her doctoral degree in counseling, family and worklife (CFW) from the University of Rochester. She’s recognized as a national certified counselor and national certified school counselor by the American Counseling Association (ACA), a clinical member and approved supervisor by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and a certified criminal justice specialist by the National Association of Forensic Counselors (NAFC). –yvette caslin
