Talking Pretty witnessed a packed house Saturday, May 14, at The Bill Lowe Gallery for “Night at the Museum III,” hosted by The 2 Live Stews, Doug and Ryan Stewart. DJ Kid Capri was on the 1’s and 2’s, hyping the crowd up and keeping everyone on their toes.
Complimentary cocktails from Crown Royal, Crown Royal Black, Ciroc and Don Julio had all three bars packed the entire evening. ATL guests, who showed up ready to impress at this professional relaxation event, enjoyed music, art and supporting The Stewart Education Foundation.
The hosts, The 2 Live Stews, are the “it” brothers who talk sports with a twist on a nationally-syndicated sports talk radio show, 790 The Zone. Their nicknames include “The Hennessy Brothers,” “The Crunk Brothers,” “The Reebok Brothers,” “The Heineken Brothers, “The Heavy Chevy Brothers,” “The Sports Illustrated Brothers” and “The ESPN2 Brothers.” All suitable names for brothers who bring you an hour of high-energy sports talk like nothing you’ve ever heard.
Like their on-air, hip-hop style of sports talk and debates, their style is equally up to par. At this event, Ryan Stewart was dressed in a lighter gray suit vest and pants with a striped, button-up dress shirt and multicolored purple tie. Doug Stewart went for a more casual look with a white V-neck tee, dark gray dress pants and a blinged-out watch.
