Essence Atkins and her husband of 2 years, Jaime Mendez, are reportedly pregnant! The 39-year-old Are We There Yet? actress is expecting her first child with sales/marketing executive Jaime Mendez on Christmas Day, according to People. The couple got married in September 2009 after meeting online via popular dating site Match.com.
“Our gratitude is overwhelming to have found each other and adding a baby to our happy home is truly a dream come true,” the couple says. “We are both elated and humbled by this amazing gift.”
