Recently Hoyu America held a model call in search of talented young ladies to represent their BIGEN line of products, at the mid-summer Bronner Bros. International Hair Show. Rolling out was fortunate enough to speak with a few of them to find out how they prepare for model calls.

What does it take to prepare for a casting call? A great team., You have to have your hair, makeup and your outfit right. My family is my team; they help me prepare for model calls.
Have you ever had formal training to prepare? No, I just watch “America’s Next Top Model” intensely, and focus on advice given to the contestants.
What do you think is your best asset? My eyes are my best asset, because they are deep. I’ve had people tell me that they can see a themselves in my eyes, because of the energy I exude.
What are the key qualities a model should have? Confidence and a great personality are qualities that a model must have. All models have the look but a great personality will make it easier for you to get more opportunities in the modeling industry.
What are some great techniques you do to practice your walk? Wherever I am I practice my walk as if I’m on the runway, and I have my sister critique me.
Who is your supermodel role model? Heidi Klum is my supermodel role model. Heidi has three children and she looks great. In addition to modeling she is a great business woman, she knows how to market herself as a brand to expand her opportunities beyond the modeling industry.
