Catherine Flowers is the director of the Department of Neighborhoods for the city of Houston. Three keys to success, Flowers says, are influence, wisdom and faith.
As for faith, “Daily I am expecting great things from God in order to do great things for God,” Flowers says. “In my prayers, I pray for influence and wisdom and I am always asking to be used. I believe it is an honor and a blessing to be able to serve.” Creating a platform to make a difference in the lives of others motivates Flowers, no matter the challenge.
