While K-Ci was “dating” singer Mary J. Blige, there were reports that he cheated on her with her hairstylist. The entire relationship seemed to be troublesome and in 2006 K-Ci blasted the singer in a VIBE interview revealing that he was never as serious about her as she was with him.
“There was something. It wasn’t what Mary wanted everybody to think,” said K-Ci. “She wanted the world to think that we were living a fairytale and all of a sudden I ended it. We cared about each other, but I wasn’t in love with here. The feelings were never mutual.”
