Ooops: Having an affair with a public figure while his wife dies of cancer is just a bad look. Having a baby with the public figure is worse. However, telling a national magazine, GQ, that “I do know that I will love him and that love is till death do us part …” looks pretty desperate now that Edwards’ wife is deceased and his political ambitions do not include her whatsoever.
Update: John Edwards was accused of using campaign funds to conceal his affair with Rielle Hunter, and that chapter ended in a mistrial last week. Hunter is writing a book about their affair.
