Monifah’s ‘Big Reveal‘
Speaking of her relationship, the talk of the Web today was the singer’s reported “coming out” on the television program. In the promo trailer, Monifah kisses her same-sex partner and asks her daughter for her approval. Although some viewers may be shocked to see the singer openly show her personal life, Monifah contends that she’s never hidden her sexuality. “I hate the term [coming out],” she told Essence “because I’ve never been anything but who I am and I’ve lived my authentic life.”
