Mitt Romney Insults Hispanics on Leaked Video?

Red-faced Republican candidate Mitt Romney is still trying to wipe off the bottom of his shoe after stepping in a big dung pile during a private fundraiser that was secretly recorded and leaked to the media.

Even though Romney refuses to apologize, and the GOP is predictably closing ranks around their candidate, Romney admitted that he said those shocking things “off the cuff,” and could have been more eloquent in his answers. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a non-apology.

It was bad enough that, at one point during the fundraiser, Romney said that although women are “open” to supporting his campaign, they were having a much harder time with Hispanic voters.

“If the Hispanic voting bloc becomes as committed to the Democrats as the African American voting block has in the past, why, we’re in trouble as a party and, I think, as a nation,” Romney said.

But, according to dailycurrant.com, Romney had more to say about this demographic that was captured on a clandestine video. A lot more. And none of it was good at all. In fact, if any of this is true, the vile message would wreck his presidential aspirations.

The rest of the video of Romney’s infamous rants are reportedly set to be released today. But, in the interim, here’s more of what Romney had to say about Hispanics in America, according to www.dailycurrant.com:

Today the controversy widened further with the impending release of a new portion of the video in which Romney unloaded on America’s Hispanic population, claiming they are “losers” and “trash” who are only in the United States to claim welfare benefits.

The full video — which is slated to be released later today — shows a donor asking Romney how he will court the Hispanic vote in this election when polls show that Obama has a 2 to 1 margin amongst those voters.

Romney responded by saying that it was futile to even try to get Hispanics to vote Republican because their “primitive culture” was antithetical to Republican values.

“Hispanics will never vote for me because they can’t possibly understand my ideas. They are descended from a primitive culture. They were sacrificing 9 year olds to the gods before Cortés came.”

“And these people. The ones that come to the U.S.. …these people are losers. They couldn’t cut it in their own countries, and now they want to freeload in ours. When I’m president I’ll send Mexico a message — take ’em back. We don’t want these taco jockeys anymore.”
