Yet another Virginia resident also says that he lost 80 pounds by eating exclusively at McDonald’s. It took six months for Chris Coleson, 42, to lose 80 pounds. The 5-foot-8 man tipped the scales at 278 pounds before he created a diet that consisted of McDonald’s salads, apple dippers (without the caramel sauce) and wraps. At 199 pounds, Coleson’s waist size dropped from a size 50 to a size 36. Coleson said he started the McDonald’s diet because McDonald’s was convenient.
