Nick Gordon, Whitney Houston’s so-called “adopted” son, has been in the headlines for months over his high-profile relationship with Houston’s biological daughter, Bobbi Kristina. But now, Gordon and Bobbi are in the news for a controversial photo involving Gordon’s favorite new weapon.
According to Sky News, on Sept. 19, Gordon tweeted a photo of himself driving with one hand on the wheel and the other hand firmly brandishing a large pistol.
Bobbi Kristina then chimed in to share her and Gordon’s love for handguns.
“I @nickgordon loveUall! Ha thank4ur love support! We R both collectors of guns actually, We always have been. Lol,” she tweeted.
However, Gordon and Bobbi’s tweets weren’t met with such a positive reaction, and after receiving a backlash from fans, Gordon removed the photo and tweeted a series of apologetic tweets.
“I apologize for posting a picture with my registered gun. That’s not what we stand for and I didn’t mean harm by it, it’s a collectors item,” tweeted Gordon.
“Moving forward I’ll obviously be more mindful/thoughtful about how my actions influence others and reflect on the ppl I love and care about,” he added.
