Oprah Makes a Statement in ‘Harper’s Bazaar’
Oprah Winfrey is covering the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. In the impressive spread she speaks about the OWN network, her hectic schedule and day-t0-day life as “the first lady of television.” According to the mag, Winfrey is still struggling to abide by her “live your best life” maxim and often gets lost in the hustle and bustle of her superstar being. “Ah, yes,” says Winfrey. “I’m a work in progress when it comes to practicing my most famous motto. Like this morning, I had the intention to meditate for 20 minutes, but I really only made it about 12. And then I said, ‘OK, don’t beat yourself up; you did the 12.’ I had the intention to work out for an hour, but I only did a half. And even with that I was still a half hour later getting here, so …”
