Snoop, then known as Snoop Doggy Dogg, was just beginning to skyrocket into international fame when he and his bodyguard McKinley Lee were confronted by rival gang member, Philip Woldemariam. According to the well-documented testimony, Woldemariam was reaching for his gun and coming towards them when the bodyguard released the fatal shot. With Johnnie Cochran defending them, Snoop and Lee were exonerated of wrong doing. But, as you can see from the reaction above, Snoop knows he could have easily be in prison to this very day.
