Hamptonians Pack the Student Center
In spite of wind surges and wet weather courtesy of Hurricane Sandy, Hampton University’s 2012 “Pirate Festival” homecoming went off without a hitch. On Friday, Oct. 26, the school’s focal point was the student center where hundreds of Hamptonians gathered for a midnight to 2 a.m. bash with sounds provided by the school’s resident disc jockey. In addition to the party in the atrium, the next day alums partook in a day party aimed at young alumni looking to enjoy a house DJ and cash bar.
