Harvard MBA grad Suzy Wetlaufer was a vivacious editor at the prestigious Harvard Business Review who had a sterling résumé. The mother of four was known for both her brilliance and fashion sense. A successful novelist, her page-turner Judgment Calls was optioned by Disney. It was an interview with married John Francis Welch, known along Wall Street simply as Jack Welch, the chairman and CEO of General Electric for 20 years, that changed her life, and his, forever. The two fell in love, his distraught second wife, Jane, found out. The affair awed the folks over at HBR and she was finally dismissed. Now the pair (shown here) are married and living happily ever after.
