Robert Murray, CEO of the coal company Murray Energy, had a convenient scapegoat to do what he was going to do anyway. But, by blaming his massive job cuts at his company on Obama, he’s transferring blame and avoids any ill will towards himself, where the blame belongs. Reports have it that he actually read a “prayer for America” to his employees before laying off 150 of them after Obama retained Oval Office occupancy.
By besmirching Obama’s name, Murray believes he emerges from this situation unscathed.
