Nick Cannon presents annual ‘Halo Awards’
Over the weekend Nick Cannon hosted an annual awards programing highlighting outstanding youth with a spirit of giving back. Late Saturday, the TeenNick chairman hosted his ‘Halo Awards’ at Hollywood Palladium alongside his superstar wife Mariah Carey and Swizz Beatz. Also on hand for Halo which stands for ‘Helping and Leading Others’, was Ne-yo, Nicole Ritchie, Victoria Justice and Lucy Halle. Cannon and Carey posed for pictures at the event before presenting awards to teens including Matt Ferguson who makes care packages for women going through chemotherapy and Allyson Ahlstrom, founder of Threads for Teens, an organization that collects clothing and distributes it to disadvantaged girls. “The HALO Awards last night were NCREDIBLE!,” wrote Cannon about the evening. “Watch the show Monday at 8PM ET on Nick at Nite!”
