If that isn’t disturbing enough, remember our good friend Paul Reubens, formerly known as Pee Wee Herman on Pee-Wee’s Playhouse? In 1991, Ruebens was arrested for publicly masturbating in a porno theater.
While some may say that these scandals shouldn’t affect the view we or our children have on these shows, I beg to differ. No matter the viewer, we are built like sponges. A child is more susceptible to it’s surroundings as well as what he or she experiences between the ages of 1-5.
