Coca-Cola executive Mark Pitts receives Men of Power and Influence Award

Coca-Cola executive Mark Pitts was among a host of  award recipients who were honored for “their achievements and for utilizing their reach and resources to edify those whose lives they touch,” says Munson Steed, CEO/Publisher rolling out magazine, at the Men of Power and Influence Awards sponsored by Ford.

Mark Pitts is a 25-year veteran with the Coca-Cola Company. In October 2012, he was appointed as executive assistant (EA) to Irial Finan, EVP and president of The Bottling Investments Group. An integral member of the development of the global Sales Force Effectiveness program that is now being deployed across all BIG markets, he also serves on The Coca-Cola Company Multicultural Leadership Council, and served two terms as chair of the African American Business Resource Group. He is a member of 100 Black Men of Atlanta Inc., and serves on the board of two non-profit organizations, the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and New Hope Enterprises. Pitts received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma. He is married to Leah and they have an adult son, Mark II.
