Lopez’s manager, Medina publicly stated that Manoukian was a “disgruntled employee who chose to quit.”
Jennifer Lopez then filed a $2.8 million lawsuit claiming that Manoukian could go public with information that he knows about her–information that could lead to criminal prosecution. Lopez claimed that Manoukian was extorting her, bullying her for money to keep his secrets.
In response to that lawsuit, Manoukian countersued, arguing that Lopez’s lawsuit was bogus.
Today, TMZ reported that a judge tossed out Lopez’s lawsuit under the suspicion that it was a retaliatory act against Manoukian’s legitimate employment lawsuit against her. Hakob Manoukian’s original lawsuit is still pending.
