In a public ceremony on Jan. 21, 2013, President Barack Obama was sworn in to serve his second term as the leader of the free world and gave an invigorating speech to more than 600,000 supporters and the world at large as he spoke of his intention to move the nation in a positive direction when it comes to issues such as climate change, health care and social security, and LGBT and women’s rights.
