Beyoncé’s steamy Pepsi ads
After inking a $50 million deal with Pepsi, Beyoncé is posing in a series of new vintage-inspired ads. The singer, 31, is wearing a blonde wig in several photos for the company along with a fitted sweater and denim hot pants. In a second set of photos she poses for an Andy Warhol-inspired pop art piece.
Before Beyoncé’s Pepsi ads were released, she was criticized by people wondering how the supporter of Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign could promote a product that adds to America’s childhood obesity problem. Detractors have called her support of the sugary soda a “slap in the face” and are urging her to cut her ties to the company.
Beyoncé’s Pepsi cans and life-sized cutouts will hit stores in the forthcoming weeks.
