Egypt Sherrod hosts shut-in
Over the weekend, V-103 host Egypt Sherrod joined forces with Clark Atlanta University and the Women’s Empowerment Conference to host an all-female overnight empowerment boot camp for 150 women ages 18 to 50. While there the ladies discussed the spirit of sisterhood while dissecting self-destructive issues such as jealousy and self-hatred that hold women back from happy, fruitful lives.
In addition to stimulating conversation, the ladies were treated to celebrity appearances from Towanda Braxton of “Braxton Family Values,” Nicci Gilbert of “R&B Divas,” Mimi Faust of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Syleena Johnson of “R&B Divas” and Ivy Couch and Pastor Domonique of TLC’s “The Sisterhood.”
Guests of the Sister’s Keeper Shut-In were treated to seminars and presentations as well as complimentary meals, massages, makeup tips, a workout session, games, contests, karaoke and line dancing.
