Tahiry Confronts Her Dad
After arriving in Puerto Rico and doing some charity work, Tahiry finally meets with her dad for the first time in two years. He cries as he embraces her. Tahiry tells him that she’s angry with hm because she saw him cheating on her mom and fathering kids with other women. Tahiry explains that seeing his bad behavior has made her weary of trusting men and influenced her pattern of choosing the wrong men, specifically Joe, who Tahiry says reminds her of her father. However, Tahiry’s dad tells her that she must let go of her anger and learn to trust people in order to be free and happy.
