With the departure of Ice Cube looming over the notorious Compton representatives, Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, MC Ren and Eazy E dropped this firebomb of inflammatory, misogynistic and violent gangsta rap. The lyrics generated plenty of controversy, but the evolution of Dre’s productions garnered widespread acclaim.
