In her book, The 3-Apple-a-Day Plan: Your Foundation for Permanent Fat Loss registered dietitian Tammi Flynn, who is also a personal training instructor at Gold’s Gym in Washington, details the program she created to help her clients attain amazing weight-loss results.

Flynn experimented with this approach after talking with one her clients who told her how she ate  an apple before each meal without changing anything else in her diet. After struggling for months to lose those last 10 pounds, she was able to break the dreaded weight loss plateau. She then introduced the apple plan to other clients who also witnessed incredible results, most with a weight loss of 17 pounds in 12weeks.
