Filing the lawsuit under the name Jane Doe, the woman said she and her friend ran into Young at Crown Bar in West Hollywood, Calif.
The woman said that after Young bought her and her friend champagne, her recollection of the evening ceased shortly after she downed the drink. According to the suit, she believes it’s because Young had slipped the date rape drug gamma-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) into it, tmz.com reports.
The affidavit says she is convinced that something happened to her by Young because she awoke the next morning bleeding from both her vagina and rectum. Miss Jane Doe says Young admitted to having sex with her the night before but claimed he stopped because she passed out.
According to the suit, Young took her home and she immediately raced to the University of California-Los Angeles’ (UCLA) Santa Monica Rape Treatment Center, where she took a rape kit and was tested for STDs. The test she took at the center, she stated, confirmed she had been drugged. The tests concluded that the injuries to her vagina and rectum were consistent with rape.
The woman also stated that she underwent a series of psychiatric evaluations following the rape evaluation.
Miss Jane Doe is suing Young for sexual battery, sexual assault, false imprisonment, and more demanding unspecified damages. The West Hollywood bar where she met Young, Crown Bar, is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit. She is suing them for negligence.
Why the woman waited two years to report the rape remains under question.
