8 Ball & MJG inspired a generation of Southern rappers. Their debut, Comin’ Out Hard, featured a sound and aggressiveness that had never been heard before in rap. Produced solely by 8 Ball & MJG, the songs on Comin’ Out Hard featured sped-up samples that Kanye West adopted and made famous 10 years later.
