Cat pose (Marjaryasana)
The cat pose completely stretches the lower back and relieves stress. Try arching and rounding the back 10 times in a row while deeply inhaling and exhaling as you arch and release.
Warrior pose (Virabhadrasana)
Strengthens and stretches your legs, ankles and feet whiloe stretching hips, groins and shoulders and developing concentration and balance. Deep breathes help you maintain position.
Corpse pose (Savasana)
This is probably one of the best yoga poses to relieve stress. While it’s not much of pose but a simple lie down and relax like a corpse in a dark room. It’s amazing how five minutes of absolute silence and total relaxation can have on the mind, body and soul. If you are a person who is always on the go, it may be difficult to be still and relax. Start off with one minute and gradually work up to being still for up to 10 minutes a day.
