Previously, the makers of the Xbox revealed that the new gaming console, Xbox One, would not allow users to share, trade or resell their game discs once they were used. However, after numerous complaints from users on their community board, Microsoft, has recanted their decision and decided to allow the share, trade, resell the games as it is currently done with the Xbox 360.

Microsoft also wanted to make Internet connection mandatory for all gaming, however, this decision was also reversed. After initial set-up of gaming console, which is set to be released this fall, users can play all games in an offline mode just as they do today with the 360.

Microsoft released this statement on their community board to acknowledge they were reading and listening to their users. The post read, “Update on June 19, 2013: As a result of feedback from the Xbox community, we have changed certain policies for Xbox One reflected in this blog. Some of this information is no longer accurate.”

The Xbox One at $399 will cost about $100 more than Sony’s PlayStation 4, which is also set to be released in the fall.
