A sneakerhead shot and killed a robber while waiting in line to purchase the new Nike LeBron X sneakers.

According to reports, nearly 20 people were waiting overnight at Wish Clothing in Atlanta for a chance to purchase the sneakers that retail at $180.

Around 5:30 a.m., an armed man approached the people standing in line and attempted to take their money. However, one customer was armed and shot the suspect who ran a few yards before collapsing and dying.

Witnesses claim that the shooter acted in self-defense and police have yet to charge the shooter.

Although the store became a murder scene, most of the sneakerheads, including the shooter, remained in line to purchase the sneakers.
