Evelyn Barnave, 43, “allegedly” shot her boyfriend Randolph Costa in the face while sitting in her car in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on Jan. 11, 2011. According to police, she sped off, left him wounded in the street and then threw away the gun.
During a recent Brooklyn Supreme Court bench trial, Costa who is still very much in love with Barnave and living with HIV, refused to cooperate with prosecutors.
