No. 10 Step In the Arena by Gang Starr (1991)

This is East Coast hip-hop at it’s purest. On their second album, Guru and Primo finally found their voice. Guru’s monotone flow and razor-sharp perspective gave weight to his topical rhymes, while Premier established himself as the greatest East Coast hip-hop producer of the decade with his bottom-heavy beats.
